TIPS (Traumatology Institute & Psychological Services, Philippines) is the officially accredited training site of the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology (GCAT), USA. It provides internationally recognized workshops and certification programs in traumatology for professionals, educators, and responders who want to strengthen their trauma-informed practice.

What kinds of training programs does TIPS offer?

TIPS offers four progressive certification workshops:

Master Traumatologist Certification
These programs are designed to build trauma response competencies across various professional levels and fields.

Compassion Fatigue Educator & Therapist Certification

Field Traumatologist Certification

Clinical Traumatologist Certification

Who can enroll in the training programs?

Anyone interested in trauma recovery, mental health, or humanitarian work is welcome to join. However, Clinical and Master Traumatologist certifications are typically reserved for those with a background in psychology, counseling, or related clinical disciplines.

Does TIPS issue the official GCAT certification?

TIPS facilitates all GCAT-accredited training and workshops in the Philippines, but only the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology (GCAT), USA has the authority to issue Traumatologist Certifications. Participants who complete the TIPS workshops may then apply for GCAT membership and certification.
